I tried the monthly membership. I did see the difference with my stamina and body but I only went 2x a week. You have to go at least 3-4 times to really see improvements. The instructor Josie was awesome. Actually all of the instructors were motivating and great. You go at your own pace. I loved the music they played. I had to pause my membership because I had a previous back issue. I will definitely come back it is worth every penny.
Kickboxing is absolutely my favorite experience of working out, and I HATE doing it usually. The bayside location has amazing instructors who are empowering and kind. This is so important to me, from my first class I felt welcomed. I highly recommend for people who go to the gym and don’t know what work out to do. I love the classes because there’s a structured workout first, then stretch’s, 6 rounds of working the bag and then more workouts. The classes are small and I can tell we are all just there to better ourselves, no judgement anywhere.
I've been wanting to try out kickboxing for sometime after reading all these great reviews and hearing about it from my friends. I purchased a Groupon for 10 classes and was hooked. Sometimes they don't answer the phones but they do call you back or email within a day. I think that was the only hard part in making a first time reservation. The first twenty minutes consist of jogging, lunges, burpees, push ups, sit ups and basically anything high intensity. Then a five minute stretch and then the rest of the class is kickboxing. We use the bag for a bit and before each routine the instructors gives a breakdown on how to do each punch/kick properly. The last part of class is partner work. The classes start very promptly and end on time. Overall, it's a very fun way to exercise and all the instructors are great!
BEST WORKOUT EVER! I totally underestimated how hard it would be on that first class but after that I was instantly hooked! If you're anything like me and have trouble pushing yourself to go to the gym, this is for you! Total body workout with amazing staff in a clean and positive environment!
What started as a 10 class cardio bootcamp, turned into my favorite way to workout - the instructors know you by name, push you to attain the goals they help you set up, and they are relentless at making you better both physically, and emotionally. If you're looking for a place that will allow you to work your way up to your own pace, and helps you get stronger every class - look no further than here. Best stress relief ever!
I just did my first class yesterday and it was amazing!! It was everything I had hoped for. I didn't realize how unfit I really was until we had to do the 15 min HIIT and I was all over the place lol but punching the bag was the best. The instructors are really great at explaining and demonstrating the most effective techniques and are just super sweet overall. And the womans bathroom was a dream! They have showers and a little blow dryer like most gyms but they also had a little tray with hair and body products like spray deodorant for you to freshen up after class.. THE BEST so far 💖💖
At first I was a bit worried due to a tear in my upper left shoulder and figured that kickboxing might make it worst. I was wrong! Kickboxing is helping me tone my arms without straining it. Through these classes, I am able to transform my flabby arms into muscles. It is a high intensity cardio workout and a great way to tone your entire body within a given hour. You have wonderful instructors leading each kickboxing session with heart pumping music to keep you motivated. They have classes 7 days a week all day. I also love their Facebook group page because they post about fitness tips, motivational quotes, inspiring stories, and special events. That is why I joined. I see fast progress in terms of losing weight and toning your body. It isn't easy, but you will find it rewarding once you keep coming to classes. You won't regret it if you're looking for a fun workout community. Try it out!
This place is just amazing,I never thought I would want to work out 4-5 times a week but joining this program must be the best thing I've done for my body! They really care about all of the people who attend the class, after my 3rd class already 2 of the instructor knew my name. They walk around and make sure that everyone is doing what they are suppose to, in a way they are like your personal trainers. The members here are always amazing, everyone is super nice and you don't have to feel like your not doing as good as other people, everyone is there to help each other out. They motivate you to be better! The staff are amazing and friendly, I would recommend this to everyone! $
Signed up a few months ago and I absolutely love it. Started going 5 days a week and am about to start going 7. The best instructors, they are awesome and help you when they feel necessary, I highly recommend this for anyone who is trying to lose weight or just to build strength and endurance.
Great place for exercise. I found great deal on Groupon.so I give it a shot. People are nice there. They will make you sweat. It was tough at first few class.but it feels good after every class you finished. every class is little different. They will teach you how to warm up , punch and kick but it's up to you how hard you want to push yourself. and don't be late for your class.they won't let you in once class started. 5 star is what they deserve.
